Otzenhausen Workshop
What students will do
From now to October
groups of students will work on a presentation about one of the following items:
- e-learning
- computer specialization (e.g. networking, programming, open source software)
- communication
- my school
They should choose by themselves the topic and they should work on their own.
For presentation we mean a powerpoint-like presentation, a web site, a database, a teaching unit for primary schools, etc.
In Otzenhausen
- each student (one representing each school) will present the work, having three minutes time.
- Working in a group they will analyze the presentations in order to
- identify the skills they have used to produce them
- find out how the presentations could be improved
- identify the skills they would need to do that
If there will be an expert and enough time
- choosing one of the presentations, they ask for the technical help of the expert for the wanted improvements
- they produce a new piece of work e.g. NEOS website, using these new skills.
Back home
- They present the new peace iof work to their collegues
- using the new skills they improve as a group their original work
- they share the new piece of work with the other NEOS schools
- they discuss the improvements using a videoconference link
