New student website

The proposal of group number 1 how the site should look like

We were viewing the NEOS website, we thought that it would be a good idea to make a special section of the site, specifically for Students. This new section would be more colourful and be more attractive to students, as we thought the colour scheme of the main site was a little boring.

The student section would be designed and made by the students, for the students. It would provide relevant information for young people within NEOS, as opposed to the main site, which has not got a lot of information due to lack of updates.

There would be a student homepage, which would give a welcome message, and show a calendar with all kinds of information on what is coming up in the future. The student homepage would also provide links to the following pages:

A Forum: We have set up a place where people can be able to exchange views and greet / chat with other NEOS members (hopefully!) We hope that in time, our forum will end up being as active as this one: http://www.koripallo.com/forum/ Please visit our forum by clicking the link on the left

Student Members: In this section, we have information on all those NEOS students who contributed to the creation of the Student Website. It would also provide links to the school website of each student.

Technology and Communication: This page would tell us how technology can be used to communicate with other NEOS members from different countries. It would discuss things such as e-mail, the internet and MSN messenger.

Links: A set of hyperlinks to other websites which we feel students would find helpful and interesting.

Otzenhausen: Pictures, videos and comments from the 2005 NEOS workshop in Otzenhausen.
